Why HaloHome exists

We got tired of managing our own homes the hard way.

“After years of running rental properties, I realized something strange: investment homes get professional management. The home you actually live in? You're mostly on your own.”

With a rental property, someone tracks maintenance, schedules seasonal work, keeps records, notices problems, and coordinates repairs. At home, all of that usually lands on a homeowner's mental to-do list.

HaloHome was started in Downers Grove to fix that. We're a small company by design. We want to know your home, know your name, and be the people you call before a little issue becomes a big one.

How it works

We keep a schedule for the house, show up proactively, keep a record of what we see, and help manage what comes next.

We learn your home

We document key systems, model numbers, filter sizes, known issues, shutoffs, maintenance history, and the things future-you will be glad someone wrote down.

We stay ahead of the boring stuff

Four scheduled visits each year keep routine maintenance and seasonal tasks from becoming your Saturday morning project list.

We help when something comes up

If we notice an issue, we'll explain it in plain English, help prioritize it, and either handle the work or help coordinate the right specialist.

Membership

A little less than $100 a month to stop being your home's maintenance manager.

Routine preventive maintenance during scheduled visits is included. Repairs, parts, and specialty trade work are quoted separately.
